CBD is the most common non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. CBD is produced from hemp, which is defined by any cannabis plant that contains 0.3% or less of THC.

Full spectrum CBD contains other cannabinoids (such as CBC, CBDA, THCA, and CBDV) and terpenes (plant aromas). These cannabinoids work together in unison to create what is known as the Entourage effect. This works like herbal synergy, helping amplify the effects of CBD. CBD isolate is pure CBD, meaning it doesn’t contain any other cannabinoids or terpenes, so there is no Entourage effect. It is generally considered a less effective form of CBD.
Largely considered the best method of extraction, we use CO2 supercritical extraction which uses pressurized carbon dioxide. This method preserves and maintains as much of the terpenes (plant aromas), flavonoids (colour), and other cannabinoids as possible.
